Suddenly passed on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of 35 years and high school sweetheart of Gail (née Latimer). Loving father of Lindsay (Tariq), Jeffrey (Jessica) and James. Proud grandfather of Kaiden and Maxwell. Devoted son of Eddie and Bev Regan. Predeceased by his mother Carolyn Ann Regan (née Pickard), as well as father-in-law Ray Latimer and mother-in-law June Latimer. Dear brother of Krissann (Garry), Ted, Teresa (Dave) and brother in-law of Arlene Latimer. Ed will be sadly missed by many extended family members and dear friends.

Ed was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first. For 24 years, he tirelessly managed his own business to provide unwavering support and ensure the best opportunities for his children. As a loving husband, Ed cherished his role and took immense pride in his family, always going above and beyond to give his children the best life possible. He was incredibly proud of his kids and thought the world of them. Beyond his dedication to his family, Ed had a passion for speed and adventure, whether he was behind the wheel of a racecar, riding his snowmobile, or indulging in his newfound love of motorcycling. In addition to this, Ed cherished spending time with his beloved wife, exploring new adventures and creating lasting memories on the road together.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 12:30 pm until the time of service inside the chapel at 2 pm. Guests are invited to remain for a reception following the service inside the lower lounge. In keeping with Ed’s wishes, cremation will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
