WATSON, Edward G. “Ted” (founder, Barrie Frame & Alignment Inc., Past President Sheba Shrine Club – Barrie, Member Innisfil Masonic Lodge AF & AM #737) peacefully passed at his home in Barrie on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Heather (née Hawn, 2022). Loving father of Glenn (Deb), Tim (Lesley), Daryl (Kim) and Wade (Wendy). Proud grandfather of Josh, Jordan (Mallory), Brandon (Kate), Bryce (Melanie), Easton, Mitchell (Angela), Kelsey (Rehano), Jake, Jessica and great grandfather of Charlotte, Eleanor, Bristol, Adalyn and Smith. Predeceased by his siblings; Wallace R. Watson (Esther), Robert Watson (Mary), Donald Watson (Berty), Violet Cain (Tom), Joan Condon (Pat), Marie Hannigan (Milton), Betty Tunks (Gordon), Jerry Watson (Helen), George Watson (Bernice) and James Watson. Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 from 1 pm until the time of Service inside the Chapel at 2:30 pm. Reception to follow inside the lower lounge. A private family interment will take place at the Barrie Union Cemetery 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie at a later date. Memorial donations to the Shriner Children’s Hospital or to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (Cancer Care Centre) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
