Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Reginal Health Centre, Barrie on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence. Loving mother of Gregory (Frances), Anthony (Luanne), Michael and Marc (Jennifer). Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Adam, Lauren, Luc and Katie, and great grandmother of Ella. Survived by her sister Margaret and predeceased by brothers Edward and Richard. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 7-9 pm, with a Funeral Mass being held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Saturday, April 28th at 10 am. Following the service, guests are invited back to the funeral home for a reception Luncheon in the Lounge. Eileen was a longtime board member of the Simcoe Muskoka Gilda’s Club and the family would appreciate that donations be made to Gilda’s Club in lieu of flowers.
