Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at Owen Hill Care Centre, Barrie, on September 21, 2015, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Scruton. Dear mother of Rob Scruton (Anita), and Patricia Aistrop. Proud Gramma of 8, and great gramma of 12. Survived by sisters, Dorothy Glenn (late Ken), and Wilma Brucker (Val). Sadly missed and always loved by many dear nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Friday September 25th from 11am until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery following a reception. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
