Passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2022 at the age of 93, after a difficult battle with dementia. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 30, 1928 and was adopted at the age of 18 months by Victoria and Jamie Hutton. Eleanor married Grant Goodwin Hill on September 4th, 1954 and went on to have three children; Lynne Buchan (Garry), Gary Hill (Karen), and Warren Hill (Christine). She will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
As per Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, followed by a reception luncheon and interment at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Cookstown.
