Ongaro, Elena –
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Woods Park Home at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Rigo for 57 years. Loving mother of Vilma (Hermann) Struthmann, Deni (Glenna) Ongaro, and Rita (Maurizio) Padovan. Cherished grandmother of Christian and Tiana Struthmann, Patrick Padovan; Dana Ongaro and Lindsey Cook. She will be missed by many friends and extended family in Canada and abroad. She was a proud member of the Catholic Women's League.
Friends will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
