Passed away peacefully at Woodspark Care Home in Barrie, Ontario, in her 89th year. Daughter of the late George and Hermine Brinkschroeder of Germany. Sister of Helmut, Joseph, Helene, and Paul all of Germany. Predeceased by Maria, Hermann, Paula and Elfriede. Wife of the late Othmar H. Struthmann (1999). Mother of Alois (Lois) Struthmann of Innerkip, George (Sally) Struthmann of Minesing, Hermann (Vilma) Struthmann of Craighurst. Grandmother of Cindy, Tansy, Angela, Amanda, A.J., Christian, and Tiana. Great grandmother of 11, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street Barrie on Tuesday May 26th from 7pm until 9pm. Service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 27th at 11am. Interment to follow at Barrie Union Cemetery. Donations in Elisabeth’s memory may be made to Woods Park Care Home and would be appreciated by the family.
