Elizabeth Theresa Krelove (née Zack)
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty), who died peacefully on June 15, 2015 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Betty, born in Fort William, Ont., was the beloved wife of the late Orest (2012). Adored mother of Connie (late, John), Richard, Glenn (Judy), Russell, Gordon (Karen), Janet, and Clifford (Andrea). Loving grandmother of Cory (Melissa), Krista (Michael), Carly (Mark), Katie, Ryan (Courtney), Kevin, Peter, Jessica (Patrick), Nadine, Amelia, Maureen, and Elizabeth. Proud great-grandmother of Jacob, Jack, James, Olivia, and Quinn. She is also survived by sister Genevieve, brothers Steve and Peter, and many nieces and nephews. Betty was pre-deceased by daughter Lorna (1950), parents Joseph and Anna, sisters Millie and Anna, and brothers Joseph and John.
Betty was a twenty-year employee of the Simcoe County Roman Catholic School Board where she made many close and loving friendships. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary’s Parish and life-long member of the Catholic Women’s League. Her favoured activities were gardening and being at the centre of the many lively gatherings of her large family.
The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Friday, June 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie on June 20th at 10:00 am. Interment is at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
As a tribute to Betty, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
Special thanks are extended to the wonderful, caring staff in the 3A South Geriatric Inpatient Ward.

Condolences
