Peterson: Elizabeth Marie “Betty”
Born in Barrie on April 22, 1944, and a long-time employee at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Betty closed her eyes for the last time on Sunday July 1, 2012. Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert Joyner Peterson of Seaforth, and a deeply devoted daughter of the late Frances Annie (Petter) Peterson of Colpoy’s Bay. She is survived by her brother Wayne (Carol) of Belleville, sister Linda of Barrie, and sister-in-law Joyce Peterson (Henri Selles) of Scarborough. Loving aunt and special friend to many, and a devoted godmother. She will be greatly missed by her godson Matthew Lade. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday July 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
