SAMPSON-MACKINNON, Elsie – Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Elsie in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Neil MacKinnon (1986) and Garnet Sampson (2000). Loving mother of Janet (Harold) Marshall, Jean (Allan) Kneeshaw, Bryon (Brenda Light) Mackinnon, Patricia (Ray) Falk, Marlene (Peter) Rumas, Doreen (Randy Wagner) MacKinnon.Cherished grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 11 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home , 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Saturday October 25th from 9:30 am until time of Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Barrie Union Cemetery. Following the interment the family has arranged for a reception at the funeral home.
