Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Royal Victoria Hospital in his 82nd year. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Marion. Loving companion of Vera Kumpula. Dear father of Bob and his wife Mary Ellen, Mike and his companion Linda, Steve and his wife Christine, Ron and his wife Amanda, Gloria and her husband Don Loucks, Susan Turcotte, and Steven and Patricia Cook.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jody, Robyn, Robert, Amanda, Sherry, Laurie, Ashley, James, Matrina, Marcia, Pamela, Steven Jr., Alicia, Kristopher, Alexis, Brian, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Joey, Josh and Michelle. Great grandfather of Paige, Cole, Grace, Andre, Evan, Ava, London, Timmy, Michael and Christopher. Dear brother of Hector, Joseph, Tony and Jeanine. Predeceased by his brothers Henry, Oscar, Robert, Louie, Wilfred and his sister Jeanette.

Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie on Tuesday at 10am. Interment St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Midland.
