Peacefully surrounded by his family at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Wednesday October 15th, 2014 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Bishop. Sadly missed by son Stephen Bishop (Ruth). Proud grand dad of Alicia (Brandon), Philip & Matthew, and great grand dad of Paxton and Huxley. Survived by sister Carol Bishop. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Friday October 17th from 7pm until 9pm. Service in the Chapel on Saturday October 18th at 11am. Interment to take place in Windsor, Ontario at a later date. The family would like to say thank you to the staff of Serenity Retirement Home and 4 South B at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for their compassion and care.
