Passed at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday August 8, 2010 in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Roseann. Loving father of Dwayne (Lisa) and Shawn (Stefanie). Grandfather to Dakota, Riley, Cree, Dylan and Colby. Dear son of Alfred and Melva of P.E.I. Brother of Alfred (Shannon), Aurella (Tommy), Rene (Shelly), Norma (Wayne), Rose (Gunther), Stan (Barb), Syl (Gene), Una, Della (Hayden), Eileen (Glen), May (Terry), Teddy (Phylis).Predeceased by his brother Steven Rene. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and family. Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Road, Barrie on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
