Died peacefully at the Woods Park Care Centre, on Friday, February 10, 2014, at the age of 93. Evelyn (nee Blain) beloved wife of the late Emerson John Osborne. Loving mother of John “Ted” Osborne and wife Jo Anne and Janice Turnbull and husband Geoff. She was very proud of being the grandmother of four and great grandmother of five. Evelyn is predeceased by her brothers Larry and Bud Blain and her sister Helen Blain. She will be greatly missed by all her family. Respecting her wishes, there were no services or memorial following cremation. Interment will be at Barrie Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Woods Park for their excellent care over the years and their understanding and support in her final days.
