At Hospice Simcoe with his family by his side on Monday, November 12, 2012, at the age of 80 years. Ed, beloved husband of Tryntje “Tine” (nee Huizenga). Loving father of Marian Speelman (Harry), Grace Helmus (Ralph), Jim van Bolhuis (Debbie), Teresa Simonse (Lawrence), Edward van Bolhuis (Janice), Linda Vandenberg (Home) and Yolande Vroom (Henry). Cherished grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 4. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto, on Thursday at 10 am will be followed by a service at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 101 Ardagh Rd., Barrie, at 1 pm.
