Peacefully on May 25, 2010 at Leisureworld in Gravenhurst at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Eldred B. George (May 25, 1990). Loving mother of Lloyd George and his wife Jean of Bracebridge. Dear grandmother of Debbie, Tom, Darlene, Diane, and great grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Kayla, Victoria, Karly, Cory, Sabrina and Shawn. Florence is predeceased by her brothers and sister Sid, Archie, Harold, Bert, Fred and Hilda. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Knox Cemetery in Oro Township.
