EDWARDS: Mary (nee Jago)
Passed away peacefully on September 22, 2011 in her 94th year. Mary was married to her beloved husband Hector Edwards for 70 years and friends with him for 79 years. As she always said, “We were married 10 minutes before the war”. Loving mother of Ann Forfar and her husband Dave, and the late Don Edwards. Grandma of Katie (Paul), Stacey (Jim), and Ryan (Kerri). She will also be remembered and missed by her many friends. Mary was a 50 year member of the Knox United Church Choir. Friends will be received at the Knox United Church hall, in the C.E. building (2569 Midland Avenue, Agincourt, Ont. M1S 1R3) for a lunch reception on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Following the reception a memorial service in celebration of Mary's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to her “home away from home” the Knox United Church.
