Peacefully passed away in his home at Amica Peel Village in Brampton on Monday, November 11th, 2019 in his 95th year. Predeceased by his dear wife of 58 years, Mary, and his brother Arthur. Dear father of Douglas (Susan), and Jamie (Lin). Proud grandfather of Gareth and Jenna. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other dear family members, and friends. After growing up on a farm near Meaford, he lived most of his life in Barrie and was a carpenter at Base Borden for over 20 years. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, November 18th, from 1 pm until the time we celebrate his life in the Chapel starting at 2 pm.
