It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Vera Worrod. Dearest father of Dorothy Johnstone and her husband Art, Doug Gallaugher and his wife Sue and Heather Harrison and her husband Dave. Cherished Bopa of Rick Johnstone (Tina), Lori Legere, Dale Johnstone, Art Johnstone (Joanne), Shannon Smith (Andy), Kelly Brown (Taylor), Tammy Woods and Chris Woods. Proud great Bopa of Katie, Crissy, David, Erica, Richard, Jodey, Taryn, Cole, Keyda, Justyce, and also great great Bopa of Brier. Bopa will be missed by Emily, Shawn, Ryan, Paul and Matt. Brother-in-law of Ray Richardson. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Uncle Garny will be remembered and missed by his nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point Road, Barrie, on Friday March 25th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday March 26th at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
