Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe with his family by his side, on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the age of 73. George, beloved husband of Yannoula (nee Marsis). Loving father of Sophia Aneziris and husband Nikolaos of Greece, Anna Bravakis of Toronto, Doris Peristeridis and husband John of Sudbury and Ted Bravakis and wife Shellie of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Emmanuel, Kyriako, Roman, Zoe and Ioanna. Predeceased by his brother Peter Bravakis. Born in Laconia Greece, he was a Product Manager with Mining Technologies International, Sudbury, for 37 years. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross and Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 572 Penetanguishene Rd. (at Hwy 11), on Friday morning, January 4, 2013, at 10 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Crown Hill.
