SNIDER, George Robert (Duke)
After the 9th inning, Duke went to play catch with his son Willy, up in heaven, on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011. George Snider, of Barrie, in his 77th year. Beloved father of Guy (Cheryln) Snider; Beth (David) Francis; Linda (Bryan) Anderson; and step-father of Alison Exton-McLeod. Cherished Gramps of Jessica Francis; Trevor, Tate and Tim Anderson; and Emma-Mae and Billy McLeod, who will miss his musical cards. Will be missed by his niece Nancy and by his great nieces Ashley and Chandra. George is predeceased by his son Bill Snider; and by his brothers Ralph and Bill. A celebration of George's life will be held at The Palace, in Elmvale, on Saturday June 4th from 1-4 PM. Please join the family and bring your favourite memories.
