Peacefully surrounded by his family on March 30th 2013 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Pauline McLagan. Dear father of Tony, Bev Foster (Paul), Tina Hitch (Allan), and Darryl (Soroya). Remembered by friend Shirley Gallant. Proud Papa of Jaclyn, Chloe, Jamie, Lisa and Owen. Forever remembered by his extended family Catherine Manson (Colin), David McLagan (Sue), Diane McRae (Gerry), Christine George (Tom), Survived by brothers and sisters Tom (Margaret), William, Michael, Pauline Dempsey, and Mary Whalen (Henry). Sadly missed by many other family members and dear friends in Ontario and Newfoundland. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday April 4th from 6 to 9 pm. (Army Navy/Legion service will take place at 7 pm). A mass of christian burial will take place at St. Mary's Church 65 Amelia St., Barrie on Friday at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie.
