Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Thursday March 3, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gerald Pratt of Stroud in his 78th year. Beloved companion of Ruby Robertson. Dear father of James of Dauphin, Manitoba and David of Orillia. Stepfather of Cathie Busby of Bancroft, Robin (Joan) Robertson of Huntsville and the late Jamie Robertson. Remembered fondly by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews. Survived by his sister Joyce Stack of Angus and sisters-in-law Norma Pratt of Barrie and Betty Pratt of Orillia. Predeceased by sisters June Wilson and Norma Patton, and brothers Reginald and Jack. Son of the late Ernest and Erma Pratt. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., from 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday March 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment St. Paul’s Innisfil Cemetery.
