Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Friday, February 7, 2013, in her 98th year. Geraldine (nee Hooper), beloved wife of the late Arthur A. Morton. Loving mother of Sandra Morton and Elizabeth Morton (Joe Shepstone). Cherished grandmother of Teri-Ellen Haddy (Jordan Roovers), Katie Shepstone and great grandmother of Mason Roovers. Predeceased by her sisters Marion Sturgis and Jane MacDonald (surviving spouse Neil) Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, from 1 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm followed by cremation. The family would like to send a special thank you for the exceptional care and kindness by the nurses and the care team in the Cardiac Renal Unit at RVRHC.
