Lovingly Remembered
Gerri passed away peacefully January 20th, 2021 at 78 years of age in Barrie, Ontario.
Mother of Shana Knowles, Shannon Stamp, Dave Stamp and mother-in-law of Chris Knowles, Melissa Stamp, and Andrea Stamp. Grandmother of Hunter and Harper, Abel and Eli, and Tyler. Sister to Bob (Kay), and Catherine.
Gerri is lovingly remembered by many friends. Predeceased by her mother Catherine, her father Peter and her brothers John, Laurence, and Peter.
Gerri was born in St. John's, NL and happily spent her younger years in Plate Cove, Bonavista Bay before moving to Barrie and Midhurst, Ontario. Gerri was a hairstylist most of her life with shops in St. John's and home shops in Ontario.
After retirement, Gerri enjoyed golfing with her friends in St. Petersburg, FL, traveling, and spending time with friends in Ontario and her winter home in St. Petersburg, FL.
On Gerri's behalf, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those who helped, cared for, and supported her, especially over the past few years during her journey with Alzheimer's. We are so grateful for all of you.
A private family service celebrating Gerri's life will take place in the future.
