DIRRACOLO, Giuseppe “Joe”
May 1, 1945 – June 19, 2020
Passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2020 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie. Beloved husband of Phyllis for 53 years. Dear Father of the late Frankie Dirracolo, Vince Dirracolo (Michelle) and Alyssa Beck (Adam). Beloved Nonno of Max, Markus and Leo. Survived by Sisters Anne Scarati (Mike) and Gloria Kraly (Andrew). Predeceased by Sisters Victoria Fumo (Robert), Mary Scarati (Gus) and Cathy Chimienti (Peter). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear extended family.
Visitation will take place in the Chapel of the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 from 11:15 a.m. – to 12:15 p.m. and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie at 2 p.m., with interment at Barrie Union Cemetery immediately after. Please note that masks are required for all visitors to the facility, and a maximum of 50 people are allowed within the Chapel per visitation period. It is a suggestion that out of town guests attend the 2nd visitation.
