West, Gladys “Irene”
Peacefully passed away at Victoria Village Manor, Barrie, with her daughter by her side, on Saturday, December 15, 2012, in her 99th year. Gladys (nee Brown), Beloved wife of the late Harry West. Dear mother of Carroll Kozak of Cumberland, B.C., Sandra Swan (Derwyn), of Waterloo, Robert West (Francine) of Lefroy and Barbara Foster (Richard) of Huntsville. Loved grandmother of 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by cherished grandsons Rodney and Bryan. Sister of the late Gwen Braden, Norman and Clifford Brown. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Irene's life will take place in the spring. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. McConvey and the staff of the 5th floor at Victoria Village Manor.
