Suddenly at Barrie, Ontario on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lorraine Cruise-Jackson and loving husband of Mildred for 56 years (pre-deceased). Loving father of Bruce (Michelle) of Barrie, Ontario and his twin brother Ian (Lisa) of Wesport, Ontario, loving step-father of Michael (Beverly) of Brampton, Ontario, Patricia of Barrie, Ontario, Timothy (Liza) of Oro-Medonte, grandfather of eleven, and great-grandfather of six. “Gord” to everyone, he was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and volunteered for many years at Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) in Barrie, Ontario and the Simcoe County United Way. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Saturday, March 28, 2015 for visitation from 12:00pm until the time of the service at 2:00pm.
