Suddenly on May 29th, 2013 at Southlake Hospital in this 72nd year. Beloved husband of the late Denise Palmer. Dear father of Peggy Palmer-Balkwill (Dan), Laura-Grace Farr (Gord) and Fred McDonald (Pat). Predeceased by brother Harold Palmer, Proud Grandfather of Cody, Curtis, Niki, Kristi, Laura-Anne, Shawn, Jordan, Breanna, Kristina, Ethan, Hailey, Palmer, Grayden, Grace-Lynn, Dawn, Henry, great grandchildren Carter, Sabastian, Cameron, Savanah and Jackson. Sadly missed by many other dear family members and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Saturday June 8th from 9:30am until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie. In lieu of flowers donations in Gords memory may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
