Peacefully passed with family by his side at the Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at the age of 99 years. Beloved husband of Donzelle (née Lennox) for 75 years. Loving father of Michael Peters (Nancy Otley), Cheryl Peters (Michael Johnson), Terry Peters (Roberta Gooch), Susan Peters (David Terry) and Tom Peters (Helena Hutton). Proud grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 14 and great great grandfather of 2. Will be sadly missed by extended family members and dear friends.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
