Law, MWO Guy A.

With great sadness we announce the death of our husband, father, brother and friend, Guy. He leaves behind Marcia, his wife of 13 years; and his 2 children Carter (Nova Scotia) and Morgainn (Winnipeg), stepson Keith (Katrina) and their children Machs and Ruby, His mother Jan, and his brother and best friend Jason (Treasa) and their children Amanda, Emma and Carson. He was loved and will be missed by Marcia’s parents, George and Joanne Leduc, and all of their family. He was predeceased by his father, Robert, and his grandparents.

Guy always wanted to be “an army man” and joined the North Saskatchewan Regiment as a reservist right out of high school and deployed on a peacekeeping tour with the PPCLI 1st Battalion. He then entered the Regular Forces 2nd Battalion PPCLI as an infantryman. He served proudly on several peacekeeping tours around the world- Croatia, Bosnia, Golan Heights. He also served in Alert and Kuwait, and the war in Afghanistan. He remustered, in 2004, to the Construction Engineers. He rose to the rank of Master Warrant Officer and at the time of his death he was working at the Canadian Embassy in Kabul. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and loved both the Roughriders and the Bluejays. He enjoyed travelling with Marcia and with his family.

Due to COVID restrictions, it is requested that family and friends that wish to attend the Military Funeral Service register to reserve a seat utilizing the link provided below:
