Passed away peacefully at Grove Park Home on Thursday July 12, 2012 in his 93rd year. Devoted husband of the late Rita Gladys (nee Lillis). Predeceased by his parents Harold and Nettie McDonald, his sisters Kathryn Green and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” McDonald, and by his brother Garfield MacDonald. Fondly remembered by his niece Nancy Cafik and her husband Al, nephew David MacDonald and his wife Heidi, and by his sister-in-law Beverlie MacDonald. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, from 11 a.m. on Tuesday July 17, 2012 until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Barrie Union Cemetery.
