Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Monday October 6, 2014 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Isobel Bristow for 63 years. Loved father of Gord, Alan (Beth) and Bob (Janice) Bristow. Cherished grandfather of Tammy, Chrissy, Roger, Zach, Ali, Mel and great grandfather of five. Survived by his sister Jean Vollick. Harold will also be fondly remembered by his special friends Claudette and Larry, and Florence and the late Marvin. Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, Ontario on Wednesday October 15th, 2014, from 7 pm. to 9 pm. A celebration of Harold's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday October 16th at 11:30 am. Visitation from 10:30 am. Following a reception, interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and are greatly appreciated.
