MCDOUGALL, Hazel (Doogie), Mary Jane
Passed away in hospital on February 1, 2013 in her 96th year.
She was pre-deceased by her dear friend, Nancy Smith, her mother, Essie Gibson, her father, John McDougall, and her brothers Gordon, Harold, John and Ross. She will be sadly missed by her nieces Jane Barbe, Gail Harvey, Mary Ritz, Catherine McDougall and her nephew, John McDougall. Her family wishes to express our deepest appreciation to her friends and caregivers, Jewel Rowat, Abbey Pepall, Darlene Rice-Reiche, Andrea Beacler, Ruth Irvine, Lois Heslip, Jane McAnally, Vicky Williamson, the wonderful Dr. Gerald Levine, the Canadian Red Cross and C.C.A.C. team and anyone else that we may have missed that contributed to Hazel’s care over the years. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be no formal visitation. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at 11.30 a.m. at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie.
