Peacefully passed with family by her side at Hospice Simcoe on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of Edward “Ted”. Loving mother of Glenn (Deb), Tim (Lesley), Daryl (Kim) and Wade (Wendy). Proud grandmother of Josh, Jordan (Mallory), Brandon (Kate), Bryce (Melanie), Easton, Mitchell, Kelsey, Jake, Jessica and great grandmother of Charlotte, Eleanor, Bristol and Adalyn. Predeceased by parents Carl and Nina Hawn, dear sister of the late Don (Heidi) and the late Carroll (Bob). Will be missed by extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 12 p.m. until the time of Service at 2 p.m. inside the Chapel. A private burial will occur in the Spring at the Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie. Donations in Heather’s memory can be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Simcoe and are greatly appreciated by the family. Due to Ontario’s Covid-19 restrictions, the Funeral Home is able to accommodate up to 75 people in the Chapel for a Service. Guests must be wearing facial coverings and allow proper social distancing.
