Passed away on June 29, 2014 at Victoria Village. Helen, loving wife of the late Emerson Charles Astridge. Will be sadly missed by her son Kevin (Melinda) and their children Laurel and Aidan. Will also be missed by her daughter Sonya Astridge. Loving sister of Lillian Carr and her nephew Paul Carr. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon and William McDonald and her sister Beatrice McMann. Loved by many relatives.
Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Thursday July 3, 2014. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday July 4, 2014 at 11:00 am followed an interment at Barrie Union Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will take place at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
