It is with sadness we announce Herb's peaceful passing on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband for 62 years to Mary and the loving father and father-in-law to Linda and Dennis Ottaway, and Toby and Reg Perkin. He was also a cherished grandfather to Ryan, Kelly, Amy and Kristen. Thanks to Lillian and Peter Partridge for their caring support. He will be sadly missed but we take comfort in the long, happy life he enjoyed. Family and friends may call at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow. Interment Craighurst Cemetery.
