We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Dave McIntyre, who tragically passed away on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at his home in Tiny at the age of 48 years. He was the beloved son of Sheena and the late Gary (Karen). Cherished brother of Robert McIntyre (Michelle) and Kirsty Veuleman (Butch), Tawnya Martin-Lacey (Brent), Allison Martin (Bryan) and Natalie Martin (Kirk). Proud uncle of Jacob, Skye, Zoey, Mackenzie, Shayla, Nora, Sebastian, Theodore, Connor, William and Samantha, all who brought him immense joy. Dave will also be sadly missed by his girlfriend, Barb Dean. He will be deeply missed by his extended family members, many dear friends and his two pets, his dog Gunner and his cat Hocus Pocus.
Dave’s unexpected passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him. A special thank you goes to his boss, Glenn Walker, whose unwavering support and mentorship transformed into a lasting friendship over the years. Dave’s spirit and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege to share in his life.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 from 1-3 pm at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.steckleygooderham.com
