It is with great sadness that we announce passing of Ingeborg Fischer on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Inge has been the loving mother of daughter Roberta Fischer and son Christofer Fischer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her warm smile and the sparkle in her eyes. She will be particularly missed by her adoring young grandson Thomas John Fischer, for whom she always provided a lap to sit on and a book to read. Born in Innsbruck, Austria on Friday December 13, 1941 Inge lived life to the fullest. Married to husband Ekkehard Fischer for 21 years it brings joy to our hearts that they may be together again. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Friday December 18th from 7:00 – 9:00pm. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday December 19th at St. Mary’s Church in Barrie, followed by a 1:00pm interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Richmond Hill with reception to follow.
