Peacefully passed away at Grove Park Lodge Renfrew Ontario, on Tuesday April 15, 2014 in her 93rd year. Irene beloved wife of the late Donald Emery. Dear sister of the late Viola Maxwell and the late Steene Caldwell (surviving spouse Dorothy). Loved step-mother of Bill Emery (Gilly) and their children Dmytry (Alice), John, and Pierce; Tish Butson (late Doug) and their children Stephen (Kazue) and David (Jane); Brian Emery (Jeni) and their children Richard (Susan), Doug, and Robin (Emilio). She is loved and will also be missed by her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 30 Worsley St. Barrie, on Thursday April 24, 2014 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. A private interment will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Auxiliary and are greatly appreciated.
