Passed away, peacefully, on July 19th, 2009, at Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie. Long time resident of 50 Ruddington Drive, Willowdale, Ontario. Dearly loved sister of Doris Anderson (the late George), Ronald Greer (Eileen). Much loved aunt to Lynne Welch (Gary), Neil, Brian, Kathy Ferguson (Bill), Paul, Mark, Dan, Tim, Maureen Jones (Kirk) and their families. Eleanor will be remembered for her helpfulness to all those in need, her devotion to family and friends, and her love of horses and dogs. Special thanks for the compassionate care given by staff at Woods Park. The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point at Yonge Street, Barrie, (705) 721-1211 on Tuesday, July 21st, from 2 PM until the time of service at 3 o’clock. Private interment at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Bolsover, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Ambulance (Therapy Dog Program) or the charity of your choice.
