Retired from Bell Canada after 36 years of service.
Peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Barrie, on Wednesday February 19th, 2014 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Joyce. Dear father of Sandra Burtch (Gary), Stephen (Linda), and Jeff (Sharon). Proud Papa of Taylor, Shea, Cale, Kelsey, Trevor, Shannon, and great grandfather of Tinley, and Hayden. Survived by his brother Douglas Burtch. Friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minets Point Road, Barrie on Monday February 24th from 7 pm to 9 pm. A celebration of Jack's life will take place in the chapel on Tuesday February 25th starting at 12 pm.
