It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of J Murray Pratt on Saturday, October 2nd , 2010, at his home in Barrie, in his 91st year. Survived by his loving wife Kay, son James of Barrie, daughter Patricia and son-in-law Russell of Australia. Special family of Betty, Bill and Donald Pratt of Barrie and cousin Garry Pratt of Barrie. Grandchildren Bradley, Debbie and Kelly and Karin of Australia, numerous great grandchildren and stepdaughters Deana and Susan. Nieces and nephews; Frank Bell of Toronto, Elaine Wilson of London, Marilyn and Billy Pratt of Waterloo, Ruth and Donna Rayner of Barrie, Conway and Linda Bishop, Stephen, Marie and Sandra of Toronto, Caroline and Catherine Bishop. Predeceased by brother Gordon Pratt, sister Verna Bell and brother Floyd Pratt. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, Ontario, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Barrie Union Cemetery.
