PARRO, James Augustus- Passed away at Hospice Simcoe on Thursday, January 12, 2012. James Parro C.D. of Barrie in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Lorna Parro. Dear father of James of Waltham, Quebec, Victor and his wife Bernice of Pembroke, Richard and his wife Kathy of Guelph, and Bernard and his wife Christine of Hamilton. Dear brother of Sam of Angus and Angeline Sheehan of Wasaga Beach. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren. James was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Monday, January 16, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Barrie Union Cemetery in the spring.
