Passed peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Norma. Honoured father of Brenda Paine (Ross) and Cheryl “Cheri” Harrison (Craig). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Lindsay (Ken), Evan, Bethany, Aansan (Karolina), Robynne and Gavin, and his great grandchildren Hunter and Harper. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm, and on Saturday April 8 at the Living Faith Presbyterian Church, 206 Murphy Rd., Baxter from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon at the church, with interment to follow at Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RVH Cardiac Care Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
