It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Hunter on November 18, 2009 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie in his 81st year. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Anah (nee Harris) for over 56 years of marriage. Forever remembered by his loving son Jamie (Faye). Dear Grandfather of Leigh, Claire, and Ellen. Dear brother of Robert (Shirley), Carroll Callow (Dave) and Catherine Wall (Al). Predeceased by Ethel Sturgess, Beatrice Munroe and Glenn Hunter. Remembered by many nieces and nephews and friends. Family and friends are welcome to visit the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Sunday November 29, 2009 for a Celebration of Life from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
