It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother James Patrick Micheal on Saturday February 7, 2026.
James was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 18,1985 to Blaine and Linda Gerrity. James was a licensed Millwright (top of his class) and had worked for the family business since his teen years in all aspects of the company. He was extremely bright and when he put his mind and hands to work, he could accomplish almost anything. James had a mischievous grin on his face at all times, but when he smiled, he could charm anyone. He loved to travel and explore different places and we’re thankful that he managed to do quite a bit of that in his lifetime. We have many fond memories that we will hold close to our hearts. He is going to be remembered by all those who crossed paths with him.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Blaine and Linda and his brother Jason and sister Shannon McKay (nee Gerrity) and her husband Jeff, Grandparents Tom and Jean Gerrity, nieces Katie, Alice and Cara and nephew Sam. He was greeted in Heaven by his younger brother Thomas (2022) and his Nanny (Lorraine) King.
The family have requested a private service and will have a Celebration of life in the Summer of 2026.
