Peacefully at Sara Vista nursing home in Elmvale on Friday March 15th 2013 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Appleton. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday March 19th 2013 from 1 pm. to the time of the celebration of Jean's life in the chapel at 2 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Friends of Sara Vista and are greatly appreciated.
