Passed peacefully in her sleep in her home at Oro Station on Friday, January 6, 2017 in her 92nd year. Gracia Jean Isobel, beloved wife of the late Alastair. Dear mother of Tom and his wife Pat, Terry and Karen, Susan, Mary Jean and Pieter, Beatrice and her husband Dan. Cherished grandmother of Neil, Eric (Christina), Brian, Elicia and Cameron and their mother Nancy, Kyle and Evan and their father Brian, and James. Great Grandma by the lake to Aaron, Sheldon and Katie. Dear sister of Mary Jack (Jim) and John (Ruth) all predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Betty (predeceased), Pat Hardman (Gilbert predeceased), Dick (Bev) and Tim (Ilene). In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with private family arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
