After a lengthy illness, James Harry LePard, son of the late Edward LePard and Rebecca Morrison, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2023 at the age of 81. Jim is survived by his wife, Lorraine Kelly, daughter, Lynn LePard, and grandchildren Jesse, Samantha, and Zachary. Jim was also cherished by sister-in-law Monica, stepchildren Michael (Tracey), Timothy (Dana), Sean (Theresa), and Dan, grandchildren Nicole, Macklin, Kane, Savannah, Amanda, Alex, Annabelle, and Connor, great- grandson, Xander, and many friends.

Jim loved to cook, and barbecuing at home with his family and close friends were some of his favourite times. He loved to fish and enjoyed having a beer with his buddies at the Legion in earlier days. He even made his own wine. Jim liked watching baseball, tennis, and hockey (especially the Toronto Blue Jays).

Jim was many things; he was independent and strong-willed, always determined to accomplish his goals. He was tough and stubborn but accepted other points of view. He was caring and loving, always putting his family first. Jim was charismatic and quick-witted; he loved to laugh, told the best jokes, and made friends easily. He was a handsome entertainer, often playing guitar and singing old country songs. Above all else, Jim was courageous; silently enduring his declining health with grace, humility, and humour. We will miss him every day.

Thank you to Dr. Evans, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Royal Victoria Hospital. Private interment and ceremony to be held at a later date. If desired, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association and are greatly appreciated by the family.
